Do you work with our existing data platform?
Yes. We work inside your Microsoft data estate and to your delivery standards.
How do you charge for data work?
We agree pricing with you in a consultation, based on the work. Larger pieces, such as building a new platform, are quoted first and start once you've agreed in writing. Azure costs are billed to you directly.
Which technology do you use?
Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake Storage, Spark and Python notebooks, and Power BI. Infrastructure is defined as code in Bicep and delivered through Azure DevOps or GitHub.
How do you keep cloud costs under control?
Automated daily health checks review the platform's storage, query and pipeline activity each morning and summarise it in plain language, so anomalies and cost spikes are caught early.
Can you lead our data team?
Yes. A CoVault developer can act as tech lead, owning the architecture, setting delivery standards and directing the team. We do this today for a logistics group.
Do you also build applications on top of the data?
Yes. The team that engineers your data also builds business applications, like our own Co-Fin and Co-Track, so there are no hand-offs between the two.
